It is named after Maharaja Sajjan Singh. Situated on the outskirts of Udaipur, this palace was once the residence of the Mewar Empire. The Monsoon Palace was mainly used as a hunting lodge for the royal family of Mewar and their guests. The Sajjangarh Palace displays attractive Rajput architecture, complete with high towers, bastions, balconies, and pillars. Even unique scientific techniques had the facility to conserve rainwater.

It is located in Picola Lake, which is visited by most tourists. It is located in Jaganivas Iceland, which is currently run by the Taj Group. It is also known as Taj Lake Palace. This beautiful Jal Mahal was built by Maharana Jagat Singh II in 1754. In 1950, this palace was converted into a five-star hotel.  The walls of this palace are beautifully painted. To reach this palace, the facilities of motor boats are available at all times. In the light of the moon, this palace is very beautiful in the middle of the lake.
